The SWR weight sensor is designed for steel wire ropes from diameter 5 to 13, and it measures the amount of weight through the tension and deformation created in the structure of the wire ropes.

Due to the fact that it is installed on each of the coils separately, it has very high accuracy and quick and easy installation. It is suggested that this sensor be used for projects with high capacity and stop where it is not possible to install the sensor under the cabin and the coil. Also, the weight measurement capacity of each SWR sensor depends on the coil grade. These sensors are individually connected to the VK or RCU control device by a 2-meter cable, like most of Dinasel's sensors.

Since a separate sensor must be prepared for each wire, if it is possible to install the sensor under the cabin, it is much more economical than SWR. However, Delta recommends the use of TCA800 under-cabin load cells in order to benefit from a very accurate result. The main difference between the SWR sensor and the common LCK sensor is its accuracy. Due to the individual installation on each of the wires, the measurement accuracy is increased and the error is reduced.
