2. Descriptions of the Connections.
AL-C (Relay contact of the Complete load)
Change of the state if the load value programmed in the parameter is exceeded.
AL-S (Relay contact of the Overload)
Change of the state if the load programmed in the parameter is exceeded. AL-A (Relay of the Auxiliary)
Change of the state if the load programmed in the parameter is exceeded. HOLD (activated if a voltage is present, 24 to 220V, ac or dc).
When the elevator is in progress and the measurement of the weight is not good, the relay could be activated and the cabin display turns unstable.
Activating the HOLD entrance when the elevator gets in movement, the measurement of the weight is blocked, then the display is intermittent and the relay, together with the cabin display, maintains the status until this entrance is disabled. That should be after stopping the elevator.
3. Output of cabin display
It can give two types of outputs that you can select on the parameter .
a) Output that is activated in blinking when an overload takes place. The output has polarity and it can be valid to activate a led and a buzzer (continuous current 7,5V máx.75mA). b) Activation of progressive display MB-D (Two threads connection without polarity).

4. Keys of access to the parameters of menu’s The unit has a menu to accede to the adjustment of the parameters.
Pressing this key successively, will go to all programmable parameters of the menu in a cycle way. To go back to the visual presentation of the weight, press the key several times till the end of the menu, or just press it during 2 seconds.
Pressing this key it enters in the selected option and, once inside, allowing you to select the digit to modify.
Press this key to modify the selected digit. Also by pressing this key, when you are located on the selected parameter, the display shows its content. 5. Modification of the parameter
5.1. Modification of the alarm
1) Press the key successively until being place on the desired alarm.
2) Press the key to enter in parameter modification, the left digit will blink.
3) Put in the display the wanted value, using the keys and .
4) Press the key to introduce the selected value.
5) Change the status of the relay with the key (ON/OFF).
6) Press the key twice to save the changes. In the event of only pressing once, you come out without saving. 5.2. Modification of a parameter (not alarm)
1) Press the key successively until being placed on the desired parameter.
2) Press the key to enter in modification of the parameter, the left digit will blink.
3) Put in the display the wanted value, using this keys and .
4) Press the key twice to save the assigned value. The display will show the new parameter.
Notes: a) If you haven’t press twice, the operation will not be stored, and the display will present again the parameters that you were modifying. b) To modify the parameters and , please consult section Calibration of the unit.

Configuration of the cabin display, and the condition of relay 7. Calibration of the Unit
This section is necessary so that the unit knows the relationship between the signal of the cell and the weight introduced in the cabin. There are two ways to calibrate the unit:
I) Normal calibration (Valid for all types of load cells).
1 Setting of the Zero: a) Situate in the option of menu .
b) Check that the cabin is empty and press the key and then press , while is blinking the operation will be confirmed with a count-down. And when it ends, the display will present the parameter .
Note: If you don't press the before the display blink ends, the changes will not stored, and the
display will present again the parameter . 2) Adjust of the Weight:
a) Situate in the option of menu . b) Introduce inside the cabin a well-known weight (It is recommended at least as minimum 50% of the full load) and press .
c) Put the value of the weight placed in the cabin using the keys and .
d) To save the value press the key twice (The unit will start to count -down and the value will
be save). Then the display will present the next parameter .
Note: If you haven't press for the 2nd time, the operation will not stored and the display presents again the parameter .

II) Calibration of the Cell for direct transmission
NOTE: For SV sensors it is recommendable to calibrate the unit using a known weight (normal calibration method). The direct transmission method should be avoided.
To fulfill this operation it is not necessary to introduce a well-known weight in the cabin. 1) Setting of the Zero (same as the operation of the normal calibration).
2) Adjust of the Weight: a) Situate in the option of menu .
b) To enter and be able to assigned a value press .
c) Put the calibrated value of the cell using this keys and . (This data comes at the end of the cables, and it belongs to the calibration value of the manufacturer).
d) To save the value press the key twice (the value is stored in the memory) then the display will present the next parameter .
Note: If you haven't press for the 2nd time the operation will not stored, and the display presents again the parameter .
8. Alarms
2) It recommend to put the state of other alarms in ON because if a loss of data takes place while programming, the relay always passes to the state OFF. 9. Auxiliary Function
Option of the chain compensation. This option allows to compensate the difference of weight between floors due to the chain. To use this option it is necessary to introduce the approximate weight of the chain, keeping in mind that the allowed maximum value is 50kg. In the event of putting it to zero the chain compensation will be canceled. Allows to configure the output of cabin display and the condition of the relay. Config. 10. Mode of Low Consumption
The display is a high power demanding component and the functionit is not visible to the traveler. That is why there is a low consumption mode, the display turns off automatically and presents a rotating segment to indicate that it is working.
Cases that the unit enters in the function of low consumption 1) When connecting the unit to the power supply, it presents the weight during 3 minutes. In case of not touching any key, it will pass automatically to the mode of low consumption 2) One hour since the last key was pressed.
3) When the unit is presenting the weight, pressing the key during two seconds. Note: To exit the low consumption mode it is necessary to press any key.

Very low sensitivity. - The unit did not receive any weight data when the

Note: When an error takes place all the alarms will be activated and the elevator is blocked. If error takes place the Off contacts are open (RELAY = OFF).
14. Quick Guide to programming
This section is a fast programming guide of the unit. Before starting the process you have to follow the following steps: 1. Locate the cabin on the lower floor and jump inside, this will avoid hitches in the guides.
2. Install the sensor and connect it to the control unit To properly connect the sensor to the control unit, please see the Installation Section.
a) To find the parameter that you want to change press successively and, to accede to the
parameter, press .
b) Modify the parameter using the keys and .
c) To save the data press twice.
3. Configuring most important parameters:
1. Type in the value of the load, start with the value required to activate the alarm of complete load. 2. Type in the value of the load, start with the value required to activate the alarm of overload.
3. Type in the value of the load, start with the value required to activate the alarm of auxiliary (if used). 4. Set the Zero of the unit with the empty elevator:
- In the parameter .
- Press and the unit will start to count-down. 5. Adjustment of the Weight: Put a well known weight inside the cabin (at least 50% of the complete load).
- Type in the value of the load that has been placed in the cabin using the keys
and then press twice to save it and the unit will start to count-down
Note: It is important to calibrate the zero setting before doing the operation of the weight adjustment.
