Introduction

We have developed a solution to be able to measure the load level in silos using our SVS-R sensor. Its installation is based on the adhesion of these sensors to the supports or legs of the silo detecting the micro deformations that occur in the structure generated by the load.

Step by step installation

SVS sensors are installed on one of the legs that support the weight of the silo. It should be placed in a clear area, which does not coincide with crossheads or crossbars. In case the silo is exposed to the direct sun, locate the sensor on the most protected leg.

+ Exc. Red + Signal Green SVS sensors are installed on one of the legs - Exc. Black that support the weight of the silo. It should be placed in a clear area, which does not coincide - Signal White with crossheads or crossbars. In case the silo is exposed to the direct sun, locate the sensor on Shield (GND) the most protected leg.
