4 Settings Menu
4.1 Settings Menu
The display of your device will show you, by default, the weight indicator of the device to which it is linked to. In
order to enter or exit the settings menu, you must press the M⌧ button . The menu has a cyclic structure as shown in the diagram below. Once inside, the first parameter that will appear will be ⌧ (password). It is necessary to insert the parameter and enter the display or parameter modification password in order to access the rest of the menu. Entering the password correctly, grants you you access without having to re-enter the password for 20 minutes.

4.2 Information submenu
In this submenu you will find important information regarding the device, and how to perform a factory reset.
Options submenu Description
Device address. In a multiple device network, it is necessary to name each device with a different value. Make sure to perform an installation of the devices where the addresses are different. This address allows the device group to distinguish itself from the rest.
Device serial number (Read only).
Device family name (Read-only).
Firmware version (Read only).
Factory reset. Restore the device to factory settings.

4.3 Display Submenu
The RC35 NG is designed for remote radio frequency control and display of a limiting device that is compatible.
In order to make changes with the controller, the controller must be turned on and pre-synchronized in the same communication direction.
Options submenu Description
Time to shut down the device.
In order to save power you can set a timer in seconds to shut down the device after detecting inactivity.
Linking to a limiter. Within this parameter you will find a list of devices which the remote controller detects on the set radio frequency channel (Chapter 4.4).The device name will be displayed followed by its address. Keep in mind: ● When you confirm one of the devices, the remote controller will be linked with the same address, and the weight of that device will be displayed to you.
● In case the linked device has an active alarm, an active error or finds itself in the display overflow state, the RC35 NG reflects it by displaying it as follows: - Example A: Alarm 2 activates a device with address 6.
- Example B: Active error 3 of a device with address 5.
● Being linked, will allow you to send the order to do or undo a TARE. ● In case that the linked device has more than one cell channel, one can visualize a specific channel by pressing the ⌧ button, and
change channel by pressing it repeatedly. Navigation mode for remote control of another device. Within this parameter you will need to click on the ⌧ button in order to see a list of the devices that are detected by the remote controllers radio frequency channel set (Chapter 4.4). The device name will be displayed followed by its address. Keep in mind: ● When you select one of the devices, the RC35 NG will enter navigation mode. While in this mode, the display, the internal
structure and the functionalities of the buttons will change to that of the selected device. To know how the device works, please refer to the corresponding manual. ● When the RC35 NG is in navigation mode, the decimal point of the last digit of the display will flash.
● To exit the navigation mode, you must hold down the ⌧ key .

4.4 Radio frequency submenu
The RC35 NG is a radio frequency device and may communicate with other devices via a radio frequency link
using the 868 MHz free band. In order to establish communication, and to link with other devices, both must be on the same channel and have their own communication address.
To know the channel or address of another device, please refer to the corresponding manual.
It is important to remember (to avoid potential malfunctions) that in the same installation there should never be two or more communications sharing the same channel with the same communication address.
Options submenu Description Radio frequency channel to which the device is connected. The device creates a network on frequency 868MHz. Up to 31 different channels can
be used in the same installation. By default this device is set to radio frequency channel 6. Radio frequency module emission power in dBs. (Defined values are: -8, -5, -2, 1, 4, 7, 10, 13db). By default it is set to 13db and it is recommended to leave this setting as is. The approximate range is of 350m in ideal conditions (in a straight line and with a cleared way).

5 TARE function
5.1 What is Tare function?
This function is an alternative weight indicator with a temporary zero. It measures respecting calibration values.
5.2 How to do the TARE?
Once the link with a device is established (Chapter 4.3) the RC35 NG receives and displays information from a linked device. The RC35 NG can send an order to that device, to perform a TARE while being able to view it remotely. To activate the tare function, you must press the ⌧T button outside the menus, when the display shows you the weight indicator. In order to exit the function, you must press the ⌧T button again.
6 NG Technology
6.1 What are the advantages?
NG is a communication protocol developed by Dinacell Electrónica that is mainly characterized by providing communication compatibility between devices that feature NG technology.

7 Start-up
7.1 Power supply
Insert two 1.5V AA batteries (Chapter 2.1).
7.2 Radio frequency channel
The RC35 NG is designed for the remote display and control of other devices. In order to make changes with the remote controller, the two devices must be turned on and pre-synchronized. The first thing you need to do is check the radio frequency channel of the device you want to link to. By default the RC35 NG is on radio frequency channel 6, if the other device is on a different channel you must set them to be on the same channel (Chapter 4.4).
7.3 Linking to a device
Once the devices are set on the same radio frequency channel, you must set the listening address. To do this, you must access the display submenu and enter the parameter ⌧ . You will see all devices that are on that channel, and you must select the device that has the address you want to link to.
7.4 Navigation mode
Other devices can be viewed and controlled remotely with the RC35 NG. Everything you need to know on how to do this is indicated in section ⌧ (Chapter 4.3).
