Introduction

1.1 Product Description

The BTM/RTM sensors are Plug&Play sensors that are part of the tool for checking and adjusting the tension of elevator belts. Its tightening system allows you to install and uninstall the sensors quickly and easily.

1.2 Pre-installation knowledge

The BTM sensors are installed individually on each of the elevator belts. The installation location depending on the type of suspension is indicated in FIGURE 1 and FIGURE 2. The sensors should not be placed less than 30cm from the fi xed point. For the sensors to function correctly, they

must be attached to the tape so that they do not come into contact with any other element. During the measurement with the sensors the elevator must be stopped.

The sensors must be uninstalled before using the elevator normally again.
