NFP buttons (Near Field Push)

NFP buttons can be triggered contactlessly by simply holding a suitable tag in front of them. The suitable tags can be carried along on the key ring. NFP thus enables hygienic, contactless lift operation. Many SCHAEFER push-button styles can be ordered in an NFP version.

Advantages

• Compared to pure sensor solutions, a more targeted operation is possible (no accidental triggering)

• Longer life span of the buttons, because improper operation of buttons e.g. with elbows or an object exerts a higher mechanical load

• Available for many styles and therefore easy to retrofit in existing breakthroughs.

The NFP technique does not allow access restriction. For access control, our EKS electronic key switch and the extended system with support for different user profiles, EKS Mega, are ideal.
